Erin graduated from Midland Lutheran College with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009. She worked as a registered nurse in a rural setting for 7 years. In 2014, she graduated from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) with a focus on family practice. Her doctoral project was on implementing a chronic heart failure management program, and this manuscript was published in the Clinical Scholars Review. She has also published a short article in the Nebraska Nurse Newsletter in 2011.
Erin is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and she belongs to the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners and Doctors of Nursing Practice organizations. Erin is experienced in the settings of long term care, acute care, and family practice. For the past 4 years, she has been providing care for adults in their home or in a facility setting.
